EAMCET 2013: Counselling dates extended to September 1 

The EAMCET counselling dates have been extended to September 1.  The counselling was to begin on June 20.

As per the orders of Andhra Pradesh High Court the EAMCET Engineering 2013 schedule was announced by the Higher Education Council of Andhra Pradesh. The counseling procedure will commence from August 19.

Engineering classes will begin from September 10 or 11.

The college management has been told to make the applications for management quotas available on their website. The application should also be displayed on the college notice board.

Candidates can also download the applications from the official website of Higher education council. Students can also send their applications not only through the website but also directly to the colleges along with necessary copies of the certificates.

The following is a list of the dates and the events scheduled for that date:

August 19 - Certificate verification process begins for filling convener quota engineering seats. This will be done across Andhra Pradesh in 53 centers and will continue till August 30.

August 22 to September 3 - Students can give pick and select college options.

September 4 - Last date to make changes to the options list.

September 5 - Seats allotment.

September 6 - Students can take admissions in allotted colleges.

September  10 or 11 -  First year engineering classes will begin.

37 helpline centers have been established in Seemandhra for engineering counseling. Acharya Rao also said that a decision on the postponement of the schedule, if necessary, will be taken on August 17 or 18.

Intermediate Second Year Results to be Released Tomorrow

 

Hyderabad: Intermediate second year results will be announced on 26^th April, 2013.  Minister Parthasartathy will be releasing the second year results at 4.00 PM.  Board of Intermediate is making arrangements for the release of the results.

Intermediate first year results were announced on Sunday last.  It is also informed that the SSC results will be announced in the third week of May.

Intermediate second year results will be available on various websites.  Parents and students can check their results by visiting these websites.  They can know their results from APonline, Mee-seva and e-seva centres.  The results will be available on www.results.cgg.gov.in.

Intermediate Board of education conducts first and second year intermediate exams.  The results of second year are eagerly awaited by the students who appeared for the exam as admission to various graduate courses including engineering and medical courses depend on the result of the intermediate.  The results are declared officially by government of Andhra Pradesh.  Board of intermediate education Andhra Pradesh will be releasing the results through internet after these are officially released by education minister K Parthasarathy.

Inter Practicals: No Jumbling

The state government defers its decision to introduce the "jumbling system" for Intermediate practical exams, by one more year.

 Hyderabad | 24th January 2012

In what may be a huge relief to thousands of intermediate students in AP, the state government, on Tuesday, deferred its decision to introduce the "jumbling system" (in which students will be sent to laboratories of other colleges for their exams in science practicals), by one more year.

According to Minister for Secondary Education K Parthasarathy, the government has taken this decision as many private college managements have been opposing the system arguing that exposing students to new laboratories would hit the marks of students as "the facilities in several colleges were not up to the mark".

Talking to media persons in his chambers at the Secretariat, Parthasarathy said that the jumbling system is being exempted only for this academic year.

"The government will not allow for any relaxation for the jumbling system from the next academic calendar," he stated.

"The government has received many requests from colleges and students' bodies to exempt the jumbling system for practicals this year. Considering the interest of students, the government has decided to postpone it by one year. The college managements have given a written statement that they will adopt the jumbling system from the next academic year," he said.

He also added that the syllabus in intermediate education would be updated to prepare them for the national level examinations. (INN)

 Hyderabad,Nov 6 In view of heavy rains in coastal districts,the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE),Hyderabad has revised fee payment dates for first year (regular) students,failed (general and vocational) students,and private candidates who wish to appear for the ensuing intermediate examinations in March 2013.The last date for payment of fee without late fee is,November 7 and last date for payment of fee with late fee of Rs 100,is November 9,according to an official release issued by the BIE on Monday.
